Tiny Worlds

Inspired by the wonderful miniature wildlife I encounter on my wanderings through the woods, I've been creating tiny worlds.  This one is only about 2 in. in diameter.

And yes, that is my Christmas tree serving as a background.  If I leave it up much longer, it will have to be dusted.  How does one dust a Christmas tree?  Every time I mention taking it down, my children moan and groan and beg me to leave it up just a little while longer.  sigh. oh well. I needed a background anyway :)

This is amazing, I'm just trying to picture the actual size. You must have tiny fingers to be able to put something so delicate together! Your children must be learning so much about appreciating nature from you.

That toadstool world is just so darned cute! It has the perfect setting, too.

I think Terry unplugged the lights on the front porch today...I hope not. I love them and think they will look just fine until Valentine's Day and then maybe Easter ~lol~

Wind chill is -23...Christmas Lights still on seem appropriate to me.

In the future I can hear your children reminiscing about how they begged you to keep the Christmas Tree up til February ~lol~

Love those magical little mushroom worlds of yours. If my children were young and still lived at home, they would never have let me take the tree down.... the day BEFORE Christmas! I had to get it out of the way for a Kitchen renovation. It's okay though, it was a live tree and I let the goats eat it for a Christmas treat.

So creative and beautiful! You have some meticulous patience.

We have plans to finally take our Christmas decorations down tonight. I'm more the one not wanting to take them down because I just love how looking at them brings back the warm, sweet memories of our Christmas and New Year celebrations this year.

These are so cute! I love what you are designing. Did you ever sell the bunny ornament with the gumball? If it is still available, I want it!
