Embroidered Gecko Pillowcase

Stitched up this little pillowcase for my youngest. He loves it.  He named the stitched gecko "Lucky".  But, I know that I am the lucky one.

I adore your gecko, love that fabric. What a lucky son you have! In fact you've inspired me, maybe I could copy a motif from the fabric l cover my books with on to the end papers on the inside....

He is an excellent little gecko! I thought of you the other day,(because of your love of nature) when I lifted a large stone and a blue striped lizard dashed out leaving behind about 20 little eggs! Of course, I carefully replaced the stone. I will definitely check out your recommended you tube video concerning herb gardening.

Oh he's darling and love the bright green fabric that you used. Little boys -- you just can't get anything sweeter (says the mother of a son, grandmother of four grandsons).

This is such a cool idea! There is a group in our town that collects pillow cases for sick children. I have a HUGE collection of fabrics left over from when my daughter and grandkids were little that I have intended to make into pillow cases. Yours is a fab idea and so inspiring. Can't thank you enough for posting your picture.
xx, Carol

I love this! I usually start with a purchased pillowcase because I am afraid that it will wrinkle, but yours look great--and you don't have to worry about embroidering through the hem. What type of fabric did you use? Love, love, love this!
